Carrie's love for the human figure blossomed while at the Art Center in California. She uses herself for a model, posing for self-timed portraits with her camera. #17 - Howard Behrens - Memories of Mykonos (Embellished), GICLEE on Canvas, 135/195. Measures 24 by 27 framed, image is 16 by 20.

Behrens will travel to beaches in Delaware, to Santorini, or to the Greek isles, with camera in hand. Upon returning to his home in Maryland, he transforms those images using his creative processes to his paintings and serigraphs.

#18 - Icart - Yello Bird, GICLEE Lithograph, 29/375. Measures 30 by 41 framed, image is 20 by 31.

In Icart's drawings, one sees the Impressionists Degas and Monet and, in his rare watercolors, the Symbolists Odilon Redon and Gustave Moreau. In fact, Icart lived outside the fashionable artistic movements of the time and was not completely sympathetic to contemporary art. Nonetheless, his Parisian scenes are a documentation of the life he saw around him and they are nearly as popular today as when they were first produced.

Tarkay created a new form of art, and his rich, sensuous palette and bold modernistic use of composition became as style that captured the imagination of the world.

#20 - Tarkay - SERIGRAPH, High Society AP. Measures 21 by 25 framed, image is 11 by 15.

Tarkay has achieved recognition as a leading representative of a new generation of figurative artists. The inspiration for his work clearly lies with French Impressionism, particularly the paintings of Matisse and the drawing style of Toulouse-Lautrec. While summing up the characteristics of his model subject without relying on the precise copying of natural forms, or the patient assembling of exact detail, Tarkay's rich tapestry of form and color is achieved through the use of silk-screen painting. Many colors are laid over one another and used to create texture and transparency.

Tarkay attended the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design from 1951, and graduated from the Avni Institute of Art and Design in 1956. His art is influenced by French Impressionism, and Post-Impressionism, particularly Matisse and Toulouse-Lautrec. His work was exhibited at the International Art Expo in New York in 1986 and 1987. He has been the subject of three books.

John Kelly sailed the coastal waters as a merchant seaman. Now he paints the ships and routes he sailed. Cape Disappointment is painted on a map of the extreme southwestern corner of Washington State on the north side of the Columbia River, its namesake. Cape Disappointment receives about 2552 hours of fog a year – the equivalent of 106 days – making it one of the foggiest places in the US.

This painting is part of the He Devil She Devil series. The series is based on the typical person who is an angel up front until a couple of drinks, the horns and tail come out and they are ready to party! Roxy is Shari's alter-ego. An unabashed romantic in touch with her inner child, combines with a business dynamo seems an apt description of Sharie Hatchett Bohlmann, aka "Roxy".

Most recently, Besser's interest has turned to the area of fine art. He has begun to paint beautiful women with an emphasis not only on the artictic side, but on fashion as well. What hasbecome a "trademark" for Roy is the inclusion of velvet bows as part of the woman's attire.

#42 - Salvadore Dali - Les Songes Drolatiques De Pan (The Life of Gargantua and Pantagruel) - LITHOGRAPH - 236/250. Measures 34 by 43 framed and the image is 20 by 29.

This image is one of a series the Dali did from a 1560s book by the same title as the art. Dali did 25 of the more than 100 images from the book.

This piece is signed by Dali, and also includes an authentication by Albert Field (Salvadore Dali's archivist) on the reas of the painting.

#43 - Shari Hatchett Bohlmann - Out of a Dream - Orig, Oil & Acrylic on Canvas. Measures 62 by 50 framed. Image is 55 by 43.

Sharie is well known for her distinctive styles in creating romantic landscapes which she calls "Room with Views" or "Windows to the World". Many other celebrated collectors Worldwide include former President and Mrs Reagan, who commissioned Mrs. Bohlmann to paint "Easter at the White House" for the permanent White House collection and former President and Mrs. Bill Clinton who requested Sharie to paint "Holiday's at the White House" for the Clinton's Christmas card with art renderings of both Presidential works donated to the Smithsonian Institute. Sharie's works have graced the walls of the White House since President Lyndon and Ladybird Johnson's residency and she has been collected by every Presidential Family since that beginning honor.

#44 - Steve Kaufman - Hollywood - Hand Embellished on Canvas, 47/50. Measures 34 by 21 framed and the image is 32 by 19.

Steve Kaufman was a contemporary of Andy Warho, acting as his assistant at Warhol's studio, "The Factory". In 1993, his "Art Studio" moves to Los Angeles, California and starts a new style called "Comic Book Pop Art". He was the first artist to form a bridge between Marvel Comics (Spider-Man) and DC Comics (Superman). Works with Stan Lee, who autographed the edition.

#49 - Nicholas Watts - Calm Before the Storm - LITHOGRAPH, 27/500. Measurements are 35 by 28 framed and the image is 29 by 22.

Nicholas Watts was born in 1947 near Brands Hatch, UK, where his father regularly took him from an early age. This indoctrination clearly had a profound effect on the young Watts, as he was soon to be channelling his artistic flair into his first ever car commission, a Bugatti Type 37A. He was just 16 years old. Nick's real passion for painting cars however was really ignited when he joined the RAF, during which time he was fortunate enough to experience many great races including his favourite, the Targa Florio.
