Maintenance of Payment Information: To place a bid or list an item, you must have valid payment information stored in your profile. By providing your credit/debit card information to Caring Transitions, you authorize us to charge your primary card for the total purchase amount of any winning bid plus associated fees, including taxes, shipping, and handling. You agree to maintain valid payment information in your profile while holding an account with us and confirm that you are authorized to use the designated payment method. Caring Transitions reserves the right to cancel listings, bids, or suspend bidding privileges if valid payment information is not maintained. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may charge other payment methods on file, employ collection agencies, and seek legal counsel. You may also incur late fees and interest, not exceeding the maximum amount permitted by law.
Bidding Commitment: Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you win, you are committed to purchasing and picking up your item(s) or arranging shipping/delivery. Only bid if you plan to purchase.
Pickup/Shipping Arrangements: If you bid, you must be available or arrange for the pickup of your purchases on the scheduled pickup date or pay for shipping/delivery.
Pickup Requirements: Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on upper floors, basements, or out-buildings.
Receipts and Payment: Receipts are emailed to winning bidders after the sale closes and payment is secured. Invoices under $5,000 will be auto-charged to the primary card on file. For purchases over $5,000, 10% of the invoice total will be auto-charged, with the remaining payment handled between you and the Seller. Payments must be completed before receiving a receipt. If delivery or shipping is offered, select your desired method before bidding. A shipping or delivery invoice will be created and discussed between you and the Seller; this must be paid before receiving items. If you do not pick up items during the scheduled pickup time or pay for shipping/delivery, Caring Transitions reserves the right to charge your payment method for the total purchase price plus any handling and shipping charges or a $40 restocking fee. Winning items may be held until funds are confirmed.
Payment Deadline: If we do not hear from you by the payment deadline, your items will be forfeited and resold to the next highest bidder. Your bidding privileges may also be revoked.
Shipping Availability: Shipping is available for some items at the buyer's expense via USPS or UPS. Handling charges of $10 for the first lot and $2.50 for each additional lot will be added.

Payment Before Pickup/Shipping: All items must be paid for before pickup or shipping. Items cannot be removed without payment. Unpaid items by the Local Pickup date will be forfeited, and bidding privileges may be revoked.
Abandoned Items: Items not picked up during the scheduled time will be considered abandoned and donated or resold. No refunds will be given.
Pickup Location: The exact pickup address will be on the invoice/receipt emailed after the auction closes.
Buyer's Premium: A 18% Buyer’s Premium will be added to the final bid amount on the invoice.
Item Descriptions: Items are described as accurately as possible, showing normal wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. All items are sold AS IS. No refunds or returns. Working order of clocks, watches, electronics, or mechanical devices is not guaranteed. Dimensions may be approximate.
Soft Close: Listings have a soft close, adding extra time to allow bidders to win, mimicking live auctions.
