Antique Worldwide Edged Weapons & More 53

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

By registering to bid or submitting a bidder registration form, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not understand or agree to these terms, do not register to bid.

Executing a bid constitutes agreement to the Terms of Sale and creates a binding obligation to purchase the lot if you are the successful bidder.

By registering for the auction, you agree to receive auction reminders and promotional communications by text and email. You may opt out at any time.

BIDDING:

It is the bidder?s responsibility to determine the condition and authenticity of each item.

By bidding, you acknowledge that you have either examined the item, chosen not to examine it, or arranged for an independent agent to examine it on your behalf.

All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS. Buyers are encouraged to form their own opinions regarding the condition, age, authenticity, and value of each item.

Descriptions, photographs, measurements, condition statements, dates, attributions, and other information provided by Zevantiques are offered as a courtesy and represent our opinion. They should not be treated as guarantees or statements of fact.

The highest bidder acknowledged by the auctioneer shall be the purchaser. Once a lot is announced as sold, the successful bidder has purchased the lot. All sales are binding and final.

Zevantiques reserves the right to cancel or nullify the sale of any lot.

Bidders may bid in person or, if registered and approved by Zevantiques, by absentee bid, telephone, or Internet bidding platform.

Zevantiques is not responsible for the failure to execute absentee bids, telephone bids, or bids affected by Internet, software, platform, or other electronic failures.

The auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid or bidder and has sole authority to determine bidding increments, resolve bidding disputes, and determine the successful bidder.

Consignors and their agents may not bid on their own property except where specifically permitted by the auctioneer and applicable law.

High and low estimates listed in the catalog are provided for guidance only. Estimates may be preliminary or placeholder figures and should not be considered guarantees of value or expected selling price.

ABSENTEE BIDDING:

Absentee bidding is available to bidders who cannot attend the auction in person. Absentee bids may be submitted through an approved bidding platform, by email, or by telephone.

Absentee bidders agree to all Terms and Conditions. Zevantiques cannot guarantee the execution of absentee bids.

BUYER?S PREMIUM:

A buyer?s premium of 25% applies to all bids. The buyer?s premium is added to the hammer price of each lot.

APPROVAL TO BID:

Zevantiques has sole discretion to approve or decline a bidder at any time.

SALES TAX:

Applicable sales tax will be collected from buyers in Florida and Massachusetts.

Tax-exempt buyers must provide a current and valid Sales Tax Resale Certificate or other acceptable exemption documentation.

AUCTIONEER:

Bidding advances will be regulated by the auctioneer and are at the auctioneer?s discretion.

Zevantiques reserves the right to determine the opening bid or minimum bid on any lot. The auctioneer may pass or no-sale any lot and may reject nominal bids, insufficient opening bids, or nominal bid advances.

Once a lot has been passed and not sold, it will not be re-offered during the same auction unless Zevantiques determines otherwise.

The auctioneer reserves the right to execute absentee bids on behalf of clients and vendors but will not be liable for errors or omissions in executing bidding instructions.

Zevantiques and the auctioneer act as agents only and are not responsible for any default by a purchaser or vendor.

CONDITION:

Prospective bidders are encouraged to carefully examine any item in which they have an interest.

Items may be inspected in person during published inspection hours or by appointment. Zevantiques will also provide additional information, photographs, or our opinion regarding condition when requested.

Detailed condition reports are not automatically included in the catalog. For additional information or condition reports, please contact support@zevantiques.com before bidding.

By placing a bid in person, by telephone, by absentee bid, or through the Internet, you acknowledge that you have examined the item to the extent you desire or have chosen not to examine it.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. ALL LOTS ARE SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS.
