Artwork created by California Artist Austine Wood She has been working on this Technique since 1967 The technique is called "Polage" (Polorized light collage) It's based on the phenomenon that occurs when certain clear colorless materials are illuminated With polorized light from behind. And viewed through a polarizing filter. This was an absolute short version of how I understand this piece of wonderful art was created. The Artist Austine Wood passed away July of this year This artwork is in a circular frame approx. 5ft around And very well made. This piece does not come cheap.
