Pickup at former Auction Exchange building in Nokomis, FL on TUESDAY 10AM - 6PM
A great selection for the music and media collector, with the opportunity to buy single pieces as well as bulk record deals. There are hundreds of albums! Some appear to be from a DJ's collection, with signatures dedicated to him, as well as promo records and other more obscure finds. The collection is heavy on 1950's-60's music including surfer and teen idols and pop/rock; but there are many other genres as well. Over 200 lots, including The Beatles "Jolly What!" and other LPs; Elvis music; several by Duane Eddy and his contemporaries; and quite a few signed pieces ... this auction is a treasure hunt!
Signatures (most on albums or books) : Ace Frehley (KISS), Mary Wilson of The Supremes, Bobby Rydell, Chubby Checker, Phyllis Diller, Boots Randolph, Lou Christie, David Copperfield, Rick Nelson, Dick Dale, The Fireballs, Connie Francis, Al Hirt, Yardbirds, Paul Martin, The Diamonds, Jimmie Rodgers, Sam the Sham, Hayley Mills(?), Nino Bravo, Duane Eddy, Jerry Maren (Wizard of Oz Lollipop Kid), Jack Scott, Bob Kuban, Tommy James, John Tesh, Ali Wong, Della Reese, Mary Matalin and James Carville, Nick Wallenda, and others. Some books are first editions.
