Built in 1906, Villa La Girasol, has been a landmark since 1928 and offers a premier location on one of St. Augustine's most central streets while reposing under Flagler Memorial's iconic dome. Original Mediterranean details have been lovingly preserved by the current owners over the past 40 years and they are passing the torch to a new generation.

Setup has been completed and we are ready to welcome you to Villa La Girasol!  If you see a blue sicker marked NFS, there are the few pieces of furniture (approx. 4 pieces) that will stay with the home and are marked accordingly.

Be sure to look for the authentic Hotel Ponce collection (in 1888, Henry Flagler built the Hotel Ponce de León, his first in a series of luxury resorts along Florida's east coast. A masterpiece of Spanish Renaissance architecture and the first major poured-in-place concrete building in the United States is now known as Ponce de Leon Hall). It's a very rare opportunity to own a piece of St Augustine history. The collection includes staff badges, actual room keys, flatware, bar stool and a tapestry that hung in the original lobby!  A vintage architects chair from the University of Florida School of Architecture is for sale too.

We will be also offering several pieces of antique Spanish furniture brought back from Spain by Father Francis "Frank" Haryasz (Naval Chaplin) in the 1960's. He was a retired priest of the Diocese of St Augustine. Very rare yet functional pieces of art in themselves!

This historic home is filled with one of a kind collectibles, furniture, various medium artwork pieces, period items through-out, TONS of "smalls", antiques galore, carved Italian bench, pair of Damask chairs, pair of wonderful Grecian Klismos contemporary chairs, lovely and unique inside and outside decor, clothing, pair of Page chairs, vintage light fixtures, and a garage full including the original wood house shutters, iron bars and period iron architecture pieces!  There is also a separate carriage home which holds an office and small kitchen/diner.  Framed maps of St Augustine and Spain. Several framed pictures of the Fort, downtown St Augustine, framed limited edition newspaper articles, large pottery collection, antique chocolate pots, lovely crystal stemware, pair of vintage amber glass table chandeliers, many collectibles brought back from trips aboard, unique pieces of furniture throughout, a little bit of this and a lot of "that is awesome"!

Yard decor, vintage Tropitone patio furniture, original coquina plant stands, variety of outside decor and plants galore (around 80+)!  Coquina columns salvaged from a home on Riberia St (now used as yard decor but would make awesome plant stands too or perfect by themselves!).  Clay pots and a small but full workshop.  Period cast iron window bars and door gates (insurance said they must go).  Mark this one as a MUST SEE!! It's a gorgeous home that is filled to the brim!!
