AMORSOLO Y CUETO, Fernando, (Philippines, 1892-1972):  "The Tinkiling Dance" scene of couple performing the tradition Philippines folk dance in front of small crowd in field landscape, Oil/Canvas, signed and dated 1957 lower right, 31" x 42", framed 48.5" x 37.5".  Provenance:  Purchased by Mildred Brockdorff directly from the artist in 1957.  Mrs. Brockdorff worked for the State Department in the Philippines at that time.  Descended to her daughter in the 1980's, then to her daughter in 2011.  This painting has never been offered in the open market and is truly a fresh find.  Hand written letter of provenance by the granddaughter is provided. Condition:  Minor spotting verso.Sale PictureHand painted outdoor genre scene with standing gypsy girl holding a  tambourine and harp at her side, signed Wagner lower right.  Impressed KPM marks versom, also marked "324, Krimatlos Germany", and old dealers labels.  9" x 6", framed 15.24" x 12.25".
Sale PictureCarved full figure paint decorated bear with glass eyes, holding support ring, on base with 4 legs, tin insert.  Overall 28.5" h. x 16.5" x 20".  Condition:  Loss of paint, other wear consistent with age and use.
WALDO, Samuel Lovett, (American, 1783-1861):  Attributed, Portrait of "Old Pat", the Independent Beggar, similar to the portrait in the  Boston Athenaeum.  While unsigned on front  we do believe this to be a work of  Waldo's with the back of panel bearing this inscription " Copy of an original paint of the Independent Beggar by S. L. Waldo 1820, and presented by him to his friend Dort. (Dorothy?) Slocum, New York, Aug. 1829".  Painting represents a seated beggar (identified in other painting as "Old Pat", Patrick McGregor) with bowl of soup and bone, Oil/Panel, 20" x 16", framed 25.5" x 21.5".  Provenance:  Descended through the Slocum family until now offered.  Condition:  Minor spots of inpaint and paint spatter, frame in need of restoration.

CASTANEDA, Felipe, (Mexican, 1933-):  Figure of a nude seated woman hunched over with head resting on one hand, titled "Desnude", Bronze, signed and dated 1980, affixed to wood plinth with plaque, overall measures 13.5" h. x 15" x 17".   Sold with copies of original 1987 receipts from Heritage Gallery in Los Angeles.
