The closing time of each lot is subject to Wiregrass Auction Group's auto-extend feature. When the time remaining to bid on an item falls below 3 minutes, a new bid placed on that item will reset the bidding clock to 3 minutes. To simplify the bidding process, we encourage bidders to download the Wiregrass Auction Group mobile bidding app, available in the iTunes App Store or on Google Play.
General Auction Terms:
This is an online-only, Absolute Auction. All lots sell to the highest bidder with no reserve. By registering to bid, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the terms and conditions of this auction and that you expressly agree to abide by all terms and conditions contained herein.
All auction items sell "as is, where is" with no guarantees or warranties either expressed or implied. Descriptions of auction items are believed to be correct and are provided in good faith, but are matters of opinion and are not guaranteed by the seller nor Wiregrass Auction Group. Bidders must rely solely on their own judgment as to condition, grade, authenticity, and accuracy of descriptions prior to placing a bid. By placing a bid, purchasers acknowledge and agree to all terms of the auction and agree not to retract their bid. Bidders that cannot satisfy the terms of the auction should not bid. All auction purchases are considered to have been verified by the purchaser as to condition, grade, and authenticity prior to the purchaser placing their winning bid.
The absence of a condition report does not imply that an item is free of defects. All items may have normal signs of age and wear. Please contact Wiregrass Auction Group before the auction with any condition questions. Questions about condition will not be answered after purchase.
Buyer's Premium:
For purchasers paying by credit card, an 18% Buyer's Premium will be added to your bid price to determine the final purchase price.
For purchasers paying by cash, cashier's check, or wire transfer, a 15% Buyer's Premium will be added to your bid price to determine the final purchase price.
No personal or business checks will be accepted.
Florida sales and use tax of 7.5% (Leon County) will be charged on the final purchase price (Hammer Price + Buyer's Premium). The local surtax applies to the first $5,000 per item; the 6% state rate applies above that threshold. Dealers purchasing for resale may be exempt from sales tax by providing Wiregrass Auction Group with a valid Florida Annual Resale Certificate (Form DR-13) prior to the close of the auction. Exemption certificates will not be accepted after the auction closes.
Buyer's Premium Example (Credit Card):
Bid Price: $100.00
18% Buyer's Premium: $18.00
Total Purchase Price: $118.00
(Subject to 7.5% Florida sales and use tax)
Payment:
If you are certified as the Winning Bidder on a Lot, you will be contractually obligated to pay the Contract Price (Hammer Price + Buyer's Premium). Title and ownership will not pass until payment is made and clears in full. Online purchases must be paid by credit card, debit card, cashier's check, or wire transfer. Wiregrass Auction Group reserves the right to require verified funds from any bidder at any time.
Purchases totaling $2,500.00 or more must be paid by wire transfer unless other arrangements acceptable to Wiregrass Auction Group are made prior to the close of the auction.
If you fail to pay for your purchase(s) by the end of the scheduled load-out period, you will be deemed to have abandoned any interest in the lot(s), and the lot(s) may be resold at a subsequent auction. You will remain liable for the full Contract Price and any shortfall or deficiency on resale, plus all costs of resale. IMPORTANT — Rigging and Disconnection: Buyers of hardwired, plumbed, gas-connected, or built-in items — including the walk-in cooler and the exhaust hood system — are solely responsible for providing their own licensed and insured labor, rigging, tools, and freight to disconnect and remove such items. Buyers must arrange professional disconnection and are responsible for obtaining any permits required for removal. Gas service and the fire-suppression system will be deactivated by the Seller prior to load-out; buyers are responsible for all disconnection and removal from that point.
Our team will be onsite to facilitate a smooth and orderly pickup. We ask that all purchasers be respectful and patient. The safety and security of your purchases is our priority.
Failure to Pick Up; Abandoned Property; Storage:
Any lot not picked up within 30 days of the close of the scheduled load-out period will be deemed abandoned to Auctioneer. In the event of abandonment, you will give up and waive all rights, title, and interest in such lot(s). If abandoned lot(s) are subsequently sold, you will not be entitled to any proceeds. Beginning immediately after the close of the scheduled load-out period, a storage charge of $10.00 per lot per day will accrue. Auctioneer will have a possessory lien against such lot(s) that may be executed on to satisfy storage charges. You expressly waive any and all claims for deficiency, recoupment, setoff, conversion, or trover relating to abandoned lots.
