Tampa’s INCREDIBLE HIDDEN GEM!! The Estate of One of Our Late Long-time Shoppers / Collectors

It’s not often in life, that we run across truly unique people. Dale Chandler was definitely one of them! He was one of our long-time shoppers, who was a veteran, and also recently retired from nearly 40 years with the U.S. Post Office. Dale always had an eye for the unique! Beginning years ago, his family said he would see unique items for sale along his postal routes. He became intrigued and started collecting, although he was also following in the steps of his own father, who had been collecting for years as well. Dale was a quiet guy at most of our sales, but as others have described him, once you talked with Dale you could immediately tell, he was one of those old-school “cool cats”. We’re definitely going to miss seeing you, Dale! Rest in Peace, good friend....

PLEASE NOTE 2 THINGS:

1. PARKING: This property sits far back out of view from the street, on a pond. Crenshaw St is a Dead End where you can pull through an old wooden gate, onto the property, and park in the limited yard, OR.... there is a 2nd (walk-in only) entrance to the property, where you can park along either of the following 2 streets at the corner of N Arrawana Ave and Armenia COURT (not Armenia Ave), near the white fence with the security camera, as long as you do not block the gate where cars will be exiting there. Again, it’s a unique property with 2 gates, one at the very end of Crenshaw St and one (walk-in only) at the curve at Arrawana and Armenia Ct (see picture of map as well as an aerial photo of property, at the end of all the pictures below). Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will be on-site to assist with parking.

2. EARLY BIRD NUMBERS: This is a small house with a TON of stuff packed inside, so we definitely will be giving out entrance numbers starting at 6am on Friday Nov 15, if you’d like to get one, and then leave and come back at 8am when we open. You don’t have to get a number early if you don’t want to, but it will mean that you have to wait behind everyone else who has a number. We will be limiting the amount of shoppers inside the house at any given day and time, due to the limited space and the large volume of items for sale. Your patience is necessary and appreciated. Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office will be on-site and will assist in the patience department if needed :-)
