*We cannot help you move items- if you are considering buying furniture please understand you are responsible
for moving it. Please bring your own tools and help as we are unable to assist.

*If you want to bring a box or basket to hold your goodies you are more than welcome BUT for backpacks, large
purses, coats and other bulky items we ask you to please leave them in your car. The house is a bit narrow and we
want you to be safe. Just bring your wallet, yourself and your sense of adventure!

**Sometimes the owner may change their mind about selling items which is out of our hands- if you are traveling
a distance for a particular item you may want to call first just to double check that you will have a chance to
purchase it**

For large items we have a two part tag system- take the bottom portion of the tag to the register for payment and a sold ticket will be placed on the item for you

Wow!  We just finished a great sale and here comes another one!!  This week we are in beautiful Winter Park right off Aloma Ave near Phelps .  The house has the old Florida charm of a lifelong resident.  She attended Glenridge, Winter Park High School, Stetson University and the University of Florida and judging from the amount of wonderful items in her house, it appears that she thoroughly enjoyed life!

For all you foodies out there, we have an overabundance of kitchen serving pieces and cookware as well as entertaining items from names like Revere, Calphalon "Unison", Hamilton Beach, Corning and more. There is not one but four sets of dishes including a set of Fine China by Minton "Ermine" pattern, Franciscan “Hacienda gold”, Vernon-ware "Mexicana", and Blue Danube “Blue Onion” pattern there is also a fabulous mid-century modern tea set by Sascha Brastoff "Surf Ballet -blue".

Sascha Brastoff made decorative accessories, ceramics, enamels on copper, and plastics of his own design. He headed a factory, Sascha Brastoff of California, Inc., in West Los Angeles, from 1953 until about 1973. He died in 1993.

The house has a lovely mid-century Danish modern dining room and office furnishings including a fantastic dining set with 8 chairs and 2 leaves by Willett, Cool Table and 4 chairs by Chromecraft '68, end tables and chairs by Lane and others as well as some mahogany furnishings, an Eastlake style chair in perfect condition, Mahogany Broken Arch China Cabinet, nice pale green tub chairs, butlers tray coffee table and a great wall unit or a room divider for displaying books, collectibles or just giving your cat a choice in where to sleep .  On the walls hang many pieces of ART by artists such as Louis Van der Beeson, Mildred Pelzer Lynch, Fritz Muller, and Robert Anderson.

Louis Van der Beesen.

 (Netherlands 1938 – 2012). Louis van der Beesen was born in The Netherlands in the town of Maastricht in 1938.  He attended the City Academy of Applied Arts in Maastricht. Louis moved to Eindhoven in 1957. In 1969 he moved with his wife Ineke to Overpelt in Belgium where he set up his studio, where he lives and paints.  Always best known for his depiction of the innocence of children in flower fields or at play.

 Mildred Pelzer Lynch,

(October 9, 1889–April 1985) was an American art teacher, artist and muralist known for her work in the 30’s in public spaces through the WPA. In addition to the mural for the post office mural project in Waverly, Iowa, she completed eight murals for the Hotel Jefferson, of Iowa City and a mural for the lobby of the Press-Citizen. In addition to her mural work, Pelzer was known for portraits, floral works and landscapes.

Fritz Müller

         Fritz Müller was born in the Tyrolean Alps of Germany in 1913.  He studied in Munich Germany and Vienna Austria. Müller resided in Munich for a period of time employed as a beer barrel engineer.  He painted with exceptional realism and detail.  Demand for his paintings changed his career to a professional and full time artist. Müller was best known for his miniature portraits of his native Tyroleans and sun browned peasants.  Müller died in 1972.     

There is a nice selection of vintage clothing including some lovely vintage evening dresses and several tartan plaid pieces by Pendleton as well as some darling street dresses. To accessorize there is a variety of vintage hats and purses including two pretty mesh clutches by Whiting and Davis.  There is also a nice selection of vintage and costume jewelry and storage boxes and pieces of fine gold and silver as well.

Cybis bisque pieces, Art glass by Murano and Blenko including a great glass cat vase designed by Wayne Husted.  You'll also find Hummels from Germany and a beautiful 4 piece Waterford nativity scene from Ireland.

There is even a fantastic 38" H carved wooden gnome from the black forest of Germany affectionately known as "Jerome the gnome” to the family.

There are tons of office supplies including two fairly current Toshiba Satellite laptops, a shredder and everything you need for a home office, desk, wooden file cabinet, bookshelves, file folder, binders, you name it, we've got it! 

For you Philatelists there are tons of stamps- first edition books and more!!!

If you are into Ham radios- there are some antenna towers that are for sale.

There are two vintage component sound systems in cabinets with turnatables- one by Kenwood and the other by Fisher. There are record including a few Beatles and other rock bands, and cassette tapes, loads of CD’s.  If you are musically inclined there is a console piano by Kimball in the hall. 

In the garage you will find even more kitchen-ware, vintage suitcases, holiday gift supplies and decorations, more clothing, boxed gift items from Southern Living Home. 

There is also a wood workers dream shop with wood working tools, hand tools, vises and more.

Last but far from least is a vintage Charles Daly over under Miroku 12 Gauge shotgun- in fantastic condition with its protective bag- this is the harder to find Japanese version and it even has its paperwork! Or- if you are into lighter fare there is also a Crossman Air Gun Model 1600.

 

Finally, there was a HAM radio operator who lived in this house and the antenna is still up for grabs.  You must make the arrangements for taking it down and removing it.

 

 

Parking will be on one side of the road only, trash day is Friday so please, for your side view mirrors' sake, do not block the road!!  We expect a good crowd so please come early and don't forget your sense of adventure (and wallet!)
