Description & Details
Dr. and Mrs. Sharman had this lovely old home moved to the property in the 1960's, filled it with period appropriate antiques, art work and collectibles, beautiful antiques in all rooms, great art to include vintage oil paintings, sterling silver, nice accessories to include lamps, pictures, rugs, china and crystal, doll collection, snow babies, Dickens and Snow Village you won't believe!! The Sharman's were Auburn alumni and devoted fans with lots and lots of AUBURN.
Of special note, "The Tiger" by Sherratt & Simpson, a gorgeous piece of work.
Three pieces by Christian Lassen, "Lords of the Millennium", (Pigmented Ink on Canvas Edition, "Eyes of the Tiger" (Iris on Canvas Edition) and "Maui Daybreak" (Artist Proof Edition). Any one or all would be a beauty to own.
On consignment, an ETCHING by Rembrandt, Harmensz van Rijn (1606-1669) "Woman Bathing Her Feet at a Brook, ca. 1658, 6 1/4' x 3 1/4" plus matt and frame, with Certificate of Authenticity.
Last but not least, oil painting (49" x 34") of lady seated at the beach framed in a very beautiful 5 1/2" deep, gold leaf frame. By French artist, "Jules Frederic Ballavoine".
