Quantum Events
Description & Details
Wits End got its start in the late 1940’s and has evolved into a thriving world class production company specializing in corporate video and event production. They’re out of room, so they’re clearing out their warehouse this weekend. And they called Lavon and Juan to empty it. Quantum Estate Sales is proud to hold a 2 day tag sale this weekend (April 17-18, 2021) to make over 10 years of stuff go away. I’ll give a small list but keep checking because we’ve only been through about half the things in there and I’ll keep adding. Note: Because of parking limitations, this is a Saturday and Sunday sale!
Here’s a few of the treasure we’ve unearthed:
Coca Cola Cooler to Cooly Collect Colas Consistently Combining Coldness Constantly!
Hats and costumes which Juan and I will model in the photos.
Trusses! There are lots of these and I’m not sure how they work but if you’re in this business you know what to do with them. I found out late in the week that these are graphic trusses
Lighting Instruments - A variety of sizes
Mid-century furniture pieces
Glassware
Vases
Brand new McLaren car $600,000! Ok, it’s not for sale but was parked in front of our space and I dreamed of selling it. There’s a detail shop across the way and they were working on it
Baskets
Christmas decorations
Art Supplies - if you’re crafty, you’ll be in heaven here. Lots of paint, sparkles, foam board and other crazy cool stuff
Video Production Equipment including but not limited to cameras, lighting, sound boards, beta machines, tripods and things I can’t identify.
We have like a million black easels. Somebody needs these for some really creative reason.
Sony 3ccd Betacam - can you even buy beta film anymore? Prop companies should buy this for period films.
Lighted letters that spell PLAZA CROWNE. These letters may it may not have spelled something else in the past. They are soooo cool.
Apple Computer for the 1800’s! Well, I think it’s that old. It’s an Apple 11e.
Wall dividers! Please do no ask me how room dividers work. I don’t have a clue. But they can’t be that hard.
Throw pillows.
Games!!!! Lots of games!!!!
All kinds of wires to hook up all kinds of video, audio and lights. Now many of you know that I was once an executive producer for commercial and corporate videos and then later live events. My job was to hire people to do everything and write them the checks. Anyway, I don’t know how to put together light trusses. Please come with that knowledge or bring someone who knows.
Coolers! We have coolers. Lots of coolers. Several sizes.
We have like a million little lanterns. Perhaps I exaggerate a tad but there’s lots of different styles. They make great centerpieces.
My fingers are tired now. Come to the sale!
