Richard "Rich" Geary Rusk was an American environmental activist and the founder of the Moore's Ford Memorial Committee and the son of U.S. Secretary of State Dean Rusk (1961 to 1969 under presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson)
A highlight of this sale is a massive collection of books spanning from the 1930’s thru 1990’s concentrating on political themes ranging from the Vietnam War, Civil Rights Movement to countless autobiographies of iconic figures such as JFK.
Most of these books bear the signature and annotation of secretary of estate Rusk and Richard Rusk.
