Wow! This is one of my FAVORITE estate sales so far! It's the estate of renowned folk-art collector Arnall T. Connell, or Pat Connell as his friends knew him. He was one of the founders of Atlanta Landmarks, which we have to thank for the rescue and preservation of the famous Fox Theatre, for one. He was the force behind the Pasaquan folk-art public art installation at Ralph McGill and Peachtree Street . He and his wife Martha co-founded the Great American Gallery in Buckhead, and then the Connell Gallery . They were dye-hard bastions of the Atlanta arts scene...
