This is a great sale with a great story. We start with a Doctor, wife and three girls. After graduating from Morehouse School of Medicine in the 1930's, and sending his 3 girls to Spelman College and Atlanta (Now Clark Atlanta) University, and supporting them through Master Degree's, he built a family house just down the street from where he humbly raised his family. He and his wife later moved to Washington D.C. , leaving the house to one of his daughters. She passed the house on to her younger sister. The sister passed the house down to her daughter, and finially to her grandson. This house has been passed down 5 times to four generations. What's remarkable, is that a lot of the original home furnishings, chosen by a designer, still exist. Most of the furnishing are from 1948-1950 when the house was built. Some proceeds are even older.
