Collier Hills MASSIVE Estate Sale
IMPORTANT PARKING NOTE (PLEASE READ):
🚫 NO parking on Collier Rd or at the house — unless walking is difficult for you.
🚗 ALL parking must be on nearby side streets.
Thank you for being kind, courteous, and leg-powered.
Some of you know I’ve spent the last four months in Tifton, South Georgia, caring for my mom during hospice. She passed peacefully at 94, and we’re back in Atlanta. ❤️
This is a living estate sale — the gentleman is still very much with us — and the home has three separate spaces, all absolutely packed to the gills.
Bring your walking shoes, your curiosity, and your inner treasure hunter. 🕵️♀️
Happy hunting!
Main House – Living Room & Sunroom
Let’s start strong:
- Contemporary oval sofa
- Matching coffee table
- Several accent tables
- A beautiful collection of art glass
I’ve learned from estate sales in South Georgia that if it’s glass, it must be Murano.
In this case… some of it actually is. 😄 (And some other clearly marked beauties.) - Tons of decorative collectibles
- Gorgeous artwork
Dining Room
- A stunning china cabinet that looks like it belonged to someone rich and famous
(Yes, it lights up ✨) - Half-round accent table
- Beautiful buffet
- Massive amount of crystal glassware
- Serving platters, dishes, and all the “what-is-this-for?” dining pieces
- Oh — and a dining table with chairs, too
Kitchen
You name it, it’s probably here:
- A virtual plethora of kitchenware
- Mixers
- Plug-in gadgets of all kinds
(Some you’ll recognize, some you’ll have to Google)
Down the Hall… Enter the Magic Room
✨ THE JEWELRY ROOM ✨
Honestly? It’s magical.
While in South Georgia, I started buying jewelry… and as you might imagine, I became fully obsessed. This room is packed with a crazy amount of jewelry, most of it $5 each (with a few exceptions).
We’re calling it The Jewelry Boutique — though we may rename it by sale time after seeing everyone’s reactions.
Look for:
- Necklaces
- Rings
- Earrings
- Bracelets
- Pendants
- Tons of craft jewelry
- Brooches
There’s also furniture in this room:
- Lamps
- Armoire
(Available at the end of the sale)
Yes — I’m very excited about this room.
Bedroom (Right Side of the Hall)
Fit for royalty (or at least someone with excellent taste):
- Stunning queen-size bed (I think — but definitely queen-energy)
- Lots of linens
- Glass-top side table
- End table and several lamps
- Amazing fountain (just needs a new pump)
- Beautiful iron pedestal
- Huge floor lamp
- Chest of drawers
Media Room
Turn right and settle in:
- Several comfy chairs
- Wall art
- Entertainment center
- Flat-screen TV
- Record albums
- Turntable
- Stereo equipment
- DVD player
- Bose speakers
- Sewing machine
(I know… not media, but it needed a home.)
The Room of Wonders
Exit the front door, head around back, and enter what some might call a basement — but we’re calling it The Room of Wonders.
Inside you’ll find:
- Approximately one million tools
- Saws, plug-in equipment, and everything needed to remodel your house
- Lots. And lots. Of wood.
- A vast collection of Christmas decorations
- Vintage adult educational magazines
(Titles include Playgirl, Mandate, Honcho, and friends — you’ve been warned.) - Random antiques galore
- Wheelbarrow
- Antique electric train set (still in the original box!)
- Antique doors
The Cat in the Hat’s House
Exit, turn right, and enter through the door at the end of the wall.
This space has personality:
- Two sets of dishes
- Old-style vintage TV
- Lots of wicker chests of drawers
- Glassware
- More tools (because of course)
- Massive round mirror
- Pair of antique end tables
- Round antique accent table
- Bear art 🐻 (check the photos — it’s a whole thing)
Final Notes
- Miscellaneous yard art
- A deck on the main level
- Planters
- And don’t forget the plethora of slate — huge pieces!
That’s the tour!
We can’t wait to see you — come ready to dig, discover, and maybe laugh a little along the way.
See you soon! 👋
