1. Maintenance of Payment Information — In order to place a bid or list an item, you must have valid payment information stored in your profile. By providing your credit/debit card information to Caring Transitions, you irrevocably authorize Caring Transitions to charge your primary card on file for the total purchase amount of any winning bid plus any fees associated with the sale of the item, including but not limited to taxes, shipping, and handling fees. You also agree and acknowledge that you will maintain valid payment information within your user profile so long as you maintain an account with Caring Transitions and that you are authorized to use the designated payment method. Caring Transitions reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to cancel listings or bids or suspend bidding privileges of any user not maintaining valid payment information. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect amounts owed by charging other payment methods on file with us, and/or retain collection agencies and legal counsel. In addition, you may be subject to late fees and interest in Caring Transitions discretion which will not exceed the maximum amount permitted by applicable law.

There will be a fee for pickups after the pickup window. 30 minutes after will be $25. 30 - 45 minutes after will be $50.
2. If you bid, you MUST be available, or arrange for, the pickup of your purchases on the scheduled pickup date, unless you have made prior shipping arrangements. Delivery apps like Dolly and Bungii are welcome so you don't have to come to pickup. Just tell me who will be picking up your items.
3. Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance may not be available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor, basement or out-building. We MAY help load some items but loading services are not guaranteed. We will NOT load an entire UHaul truck. We do not move pianos or other extremely heavy items.
4. Payments will be processed immediately after the auction is over. Invoice/receipts are emailed to winning bidders once the sale has completely closed
It is the bidders responsibility to inspect and/or test all items at pick up. Caring Transitions will not be responsible for items that are broken after they leave the premises.
5. Full payment must be made by 3pm the day before pickup. You will have the option to pay with PayPal as the first option or use a Debit or Credit Card as the second option after you click to check out.
6. If we do not hear from you by the payment deadline, your items will forfeited & resold to the next highest bidder. Additionally, your bidding privileges may be revoked. Showing up at pickup without paying first or contacting us is unacceptable. We reserve the right to sell your item if you have not paid first.
7. Shipping is available for SOME ITEMS at the Buyer's expense. We use USPS and UPS. $10 in handling charges will be added to your sales invoice.
8. Not all Lots can be shipped. Each lot indicates whether that item can be shipped, but please verify with me first at mdeleon@caringtransitions.com , (404) 640-6473, to inquire and let us know you will need shipping.
9. All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the Estate without Payment. Therefore, if Total Payment is not received before the Local Pickup date & time, the items will be forfeited and bidding privileges may be revoked.
10. The exact address of the scheduled pickup will be on the invoice e-mailed after the auction closes.
11. All items not picked up during the scheduled pickup time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold unless you have scheduled an alternative time. Items that are brought to our home or storage in Tucker can be picked up after the auction for a fee. Items will not be held for more that a week. Bidders accounts could be suspended if items are not picked up and there is no communication for later pick up arrangements.
12. An 18% Buyer's Premium will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced.
13. We have made every effort to describe Lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We may miss some flaws. All items are sold AS IS, and where is. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Dimensions given may be approximate.
14, Employees of Caring Transitions may bid on auction items as any other bidder may with the same rules of payment.
15. Listings times have a soft close. Extra time may be added to ending times to allow bidders more time to win. This will give you time to receive an outbid notification and place a higher bid and mimics what happens in a live auction where the auctioneer asks for any last bids before making the sale
16 .Designer brands are verified to the best of our ability. We will not sell items if they are suspected of being fake. If an items is sold and it is verified fake by the bidder, we will offer a full refund if the item is returned.
