Today, Saturday, July 25th, is the final day of our Braffington Court sale, in Dunwoody. The prices will be 50% off, unless marked "Firm". To save you the trouble, we aren't one of those "bundling" estate sale people, nor do we sell anything for less than 50% off the original price. Thanks! 24" tall bronze, seated Roman gladiator, signed by the French foundry, F. (Ferdinand) Barbienne. The sculpture depicts Lorenzo de Medici dressed in his kilt. The original was part of a tomb that this famous Italian artist made between 1520 and 1534, for Lorenzo de Medici, the Duke of Urbino. It is a reproduction of Michelangelo's (1475 - 1564) sculpture of Lorenzo de Medici, a ruler of the Florentine Republic.
