Hollywood Regency, 70’s killer furniture, Victorian estate sale!!!’

Our sale next weekend,  Nov. 3rd and 4th is a house full of Hollywood Regency decor, Victorian style furniture , 1970’s mediterranean furniture, midcentury items, lots of nice 60’s and 70’s glassware, unbelievable oriental vases and ginger jars from 10” to probably 42”.   Fenton lamps, lots of big Capodimonte pieces that I have sold a lot of lately in Madison, early Home Interiors type stuff.  Might pre-date Home interiors  because I haven’t taken them off the wall to see dates.  Another house with lots of Desert Rose!!!! (third or fourth house in a row with it).  Now it’s in Ellenwood a place I said I would never go back to.  Not because of all the gossip about it not being a good area,  but because the last sale we had not many people came.  Now I have to think, as Eduardo also said,  that it was what we had and not the area.                 
         Lately I have had to make several trips around Ellenwood gathering supplies and I found it to look pretty nice where we are.   The neighborhood we are in has some cute 60’s and 70’s houses with most of them being “fixed up”.   The neighbors are super nice with several people stopping to ask how my client’s father is doing.  He did live in this house but he is 89yo and didn’t need to stay alone anymore,  so he moved to his son’s place at Lake Sinclair.   So whatever people think about Ellenwood as a whole I am not seeing it in the area of our estate sale.  I hope we get the people this time because we have some funky stuff that I know the young people are buying.  So if you spread the word for me you can also say that the area where we are looks just like any other older subdivision with 60’s and 70’s houses.  Check back daily for new pictures starting Monday.  Doing some pre-sales due to the overcrowding of the house.  Also pre-selling all the chandeliers because the buyer has to take care of the expenses of removing them and replacing them with a cheap ceiling hugger that we will furnish. I have someone that can do this for you very reasonable. I would like one person to buy them all if possible so we can do the removal and install in one day.  Taking offers on the lot of four plus the wall scones.
