Description & Details
This is an awesome sale for homeowners searching for some great pieces to furnish their home with. This home was kept in immaculate condition, all the furnishings look as if they are fresh from the store! For the guys, there are great clothes too. Size 9 D shoes, medium to large shirts, running gear - you can refresh your look at this sale just in time for Father's Day. There are also many tools including two ladders, a blower, power tools and a Husky tool box. Also, the owner was a Big Georgia Bulldog fan so there is lots to choose from including a framed UGA flag, framed photos and prints, barware, and clothing. As we get closer we will post more pictures and add more details. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Monday, May 16: Hello Bird Flock! Well, after an awesome sale last weekend, we are turning our eyes towards this next one. Today we moved our tables and all our supplies over. As we did, we took some more pictures of some things that we overlooked before. I hope you stop and take a look and keep your eyes on our updates! Our first time back to this house in a couple of weeks, and the first impression still remains. It is a home that was well cared for and furniture and things that were too. That says a lot about a person. More updates tomorrow, and remember, a bird is known by his feathers... see all of you again on Friday!
Thursday, May 19: It's the night before the sale and I know the Flock is ready to fly tomorrow! Don't worry about the rain, we have too many good deals to pass up! So, here's the latest info of what you will find: we have an iPad 2 to sell, a custom bar, vintage glassware and items, 2 great bear cub end tables, a Craftsman radial arm saw, a lovely strand of pearls with the price tag still on them...that and so much more.
Now for some instructions:
* Please be respectful of the neighborhood, the weather will not be the best so please try to park on pavement.
* Please don't block the road or driveway.
* ONLY for large items that you cannot carry, pull the tag off and wear it on your person. It's yours!
* Smaller items, pick them up and take with you. No need to pull the tag.
* Remember that at the check out we have holding baskets for you to use if you are purchasing too much to carry with you.
* Be respectful of one another and of the Birds there to assist you.
We can't wait, it's going to be a great sale! See you tomorrow.
Friday, May 20 - Sale Day! Looks like rain, but we have come up with a plan so you shouldn't have to stand in the rain for the 1 pm opening. When you arrive please ask for a line number card at the garage. When you have it, you are free to return to your car and sit out the rain. At 10 minutes before 1 pm, please form a line in front of the garage. We will take up the line number cards from you to ensure the correct order. We will have a bin by the door for you to deposit your umbrella. Also, please do not walk through the wet grass, walk down the driveway. The home has beautiful cream colored carpet throughout, and we want to keep it pristine for the new homeowner. We will have a mat for you to wipe your feet off on the way in. Sorry for the weather, but it's worth it to get to this sale! Happy Hunting, Flock! See you there, the Birds
Oh, and we forgot to mention before... the framed photo prints of the owls are by renowned wildlife photographer, Thomas Mangelsen! Two of the three are out of print and can't be obtained at his website. The one that is still in print is listed on his website for the photo print alone at $355! Needless to say, they are wonderful collectibles. They are all signed and numbered framed prints. We think we have priced them fairly(better than on his website), owls are Birds after all! Come take a look!
Friday Night Update: The last day of the sale starts tomorrow at 9 am. There are still great finds for you! Everything in the home will be marked down 10% at opening! That includes the pearls, the iPad, the furniture! We look forward to seeing you tomorrow morning with much better weather. I will say, two of our signs were stolen or taken down today so we will be short on them. Despite that, take a look at the directions on this website and follow them. It's an easy drive from Gainesville downtown. So Flock, fly straight and we will see you in the morning - please form a line in the driveway in front of the garage for opening. And thanks to our Fine Feathered Friends for a Great first day today! See you then! The Birds, B, C, and T
