Great Americana Sale in East Cobb--Great Discounts Sunday

Come prepared to shop on Sunday. It's Discount Day, Noon to 4 P.M.

House full of many Americana collections.  The couple lived in Buffalo, New York before moving to Atlanta years ago. 

Treasures abound. such as,  a collection of old clocks including a Regulator in oak case, a Waterbury, Seth Thomas, Poole, and many others including a wall clock with a carved oak case from the old post office in Kenmore, N.Y., several mantle clocks, and a fun cuckoo clock.  

We're just getting started with all the delightful finds.  One of the most impressive pieces is a fabulous primitive cupboard with three shelves and door below.  Then there is a massive, round, oak  pedestal table with two leaves and ladder back chairs.

colored glass, pressed glass, ruby-flashed, king's crown wines, milk glass, pewter
wood items including old wood butter molds, cast iron and dovetailed wood coffee mill, unusual handmade utensils, duck decoy

And More Furniture

There's a beautiful marble top wash stand, two baby doll cradles, old cloth-body dolls, Egyptian made, oriental rugs, round wrought iron table with four arm chairs, many other pieces of porch furniture, tools including drill press, sander, vice, old tin litho thermometers, tin cutters, lawn mower, old scales, and much more.  Appliances too--almost new Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator in white, Whirlpool washer, Speed Queen dryer.  Wash stands one with marble top, desks, sofas, dumb waiter, fern stand, beds, chairs, huge dining table with five leaves and six Drexel chairs, buffet, deacon's bench, and much, much more. 

Just today we unpacked a huge record collection including albums of 78s, 45s, and 33s with such famous names as Xavier Cougat Tangos, and his Orchestra, Benny Goodman Sextet Session, Doubling on the Ivories, Carman Cavallaro, All the Things You Are, Maurice Rocco & His Rockin Rhythms, Paul Weston, Music for Dreaming, Fats Waller, Waller on the Works, Hot Jazz by Lionel Hampton, String Time, Morton Gould and many, many more.
