Jack and Gloria Ragland were well-known and well loved in Perry and Houston County. Gloria was an artist and chairman of the Fine Arts Dept. of the Georgia National Fair and was featured in American Artist Magazine as well as being appointed by two different governors to the Georgia Council of the Arts. She served on many other Councils and received numerous awards throughout her career and her art is in homes all around the world. Jack was a Veteran and was active in starting Macon Junior College that became Macon State University and served on many boards as well as being President of the Perry Chamber of Commerce and serving the community through the Rotary, Kiwanis, American Legion and VFW as well as many other businesses and organizations. He loved being a part of Houston Lake Country Club.
In conjunction with the regular estate sale items for sale, The Ragland's daughter is offering the last chance to purchase original works of art as well as some prints before they are taken to South Carolina. A limited number of prints will also be available. Artwork will not be reduced.
