This map features the state of Georgia in the U.S. filled with printed pink ink. The verso features printed information about Georgia, Idaho, and other truncated information, indicating that this map is a cut excerpt from a larger printed document. Included is an additional separate piece of paper printed with the title page for Conklin’s Hand Manual of Useful Information and World’s Atlas published by Laird & Lee Publishers in 1888. Both items are presented together in a protective plastic sleeve.First Edition Six Volume Set of "The Second World War" by Winston Churchill: A six volume first American edition set of Winston Churchill’s The Second World War. The first American edition precedes the British edition and is the true first edition. Published between 1948 and 1953 by Houghton Mifflin of Boston, this set includes The Gathering Storm (1948); Their Finest Hour (1949); The Grand Alliance (1950); The Hinge of Fate (1950); Closing the Ring (1951); and Triumph and Tragedy (1953). The hallmarks for Thomas Bradley and London are located along the bases, and along the undersides are pieces of weighted metal.1787 Hand-Colored Engraving Map of Berkshire by John Cary: A hand-colored map of Berkshire, England engraved in 1787 by renowned British cartographer John Cary (c.1754-1835). This map was included in New & Correct English Atlas published in the late eighteenth century. Image credits are printed in the lower margin, some of which reads “London: Published as the Act directs September 1st 1787”. Also included is an additional separate page from the Atlas with printed information about Berkshire and seats in the county.Antique Map of the Seven United Provinces with the Dutch and Austrian Netherlands: An antique map on paper of the Seven United Provinces with the Dutch and Austrian Netherlands. This map engraving features the eighteenth-century Netherlandish provinces. “Published as the Act directs” is printed to the center lower margin with following words faded out. The map is not mounted and remains unframed.18th Century Engraved Map of England: A hand-colored engraving of a map of East England. This piece was engraved by Universal Magazine J. Hinton and is attributed to the year 1760. The map is inscribed, “An Accurate Map of the East Part of England with the Parts of Holland and Flanders bordering on the German Ocean.” It is presented under glass, in a mottled antiqued gold-tone wood frame, with a double mat, and wire for hanging and map information to the verso.
