Terms and Conditions

• This is an online auction hosted through CTBids. Bidding takes place online only.
• Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. Please review all photos, descriptions, dimensions, pickup details and shipping availability before bidding.
• All items are sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties, guarantees, refunds or returns.
• We make every reasonable effort to describe items accurately, but normal signs of age, use, wear, storage, dust, scratches, chips, discoloration, missing parts or other imperfections should be expected with vintage, antique and used items.
• Electronics, appliances, watches, clocks, tools and mechanical items are not guaranteed unless specifically stated. If an item is described as “tested,” that means it powered on or functioned as noted at the time of cataloging only.
• Native American artifacts, collectibles, memorabilia, autographs, jewelry, coins, artwork and similar items are not professionally authenticated, appraised or graded unless specifically stated in the individual lot description.
• Winning bidders are responsible for payment through CTBids according to CTBids payment terms.
• An 18% buyer’s premium and applicable sales tax will be added to winning bids.
• Exact pickup address will be provided to winning bidders after the auction closes and payment is completed.
• Pickup is by scheduled appointment only. Please arrive during your selected pickup window.
• Buyers must bring appropriate help, tools, packing materials and vehicles for loading their purchases. Caring Transitions staff may not be available to assist with loading.
• Items not picked up during the scheduled pickup window, without prior written approval, may be considered abandoned and may be donated, resold, disposed of or otherwise handled at the discretion of Caring Transitions, with no refund issued.
• Items requiring removal, holding, storage, later pickup, shipping or delivery after the scheduled pickup window may be subject to a $25 per lot handling/holding fee.
• Shipping or local delivery may be available for select items at the buyer’s expense. Some lots are Local Pickup Only. Please review each lot before bidding.
• Winning bidders may receive pickup, shipping or delivery instructions through Shipping Saint after invoices are paid.
• Shipping, handling, materials and delivery charges are invoiced separately and must be paid before items are shipped or delivered.
• If a shipping, delivery, handling or holding invoice is not paid within 72 hours of issuance, the item may be considered abandoned with no refund issued.
• Caring Transitions reserves the right to request photo identification matching bidder/payment information before releasing or shipping high-value items.
• Please be respectful of neighbors and do not block driveways, mailboxes or roads during pickup.
• Buyers enter the pickup property at their own risk. Caring Transitions is not responsible for accidents, injuries or damage to vehicles or personal property.
