New in is a Victorian Bowditch from Connecticut, walnut 4 drawer dresser dovetail drawers acorn Handles, Marble top and beautiful tall mirror. This piece has it’s KEYS!,
There is also a matching double/full bed frame with 6 ft tall carved headboard with lighting that can be used or detached. Beautiful Walnut armoire with 5 shelves (from the owner, it came from a church where it was used for cassock storage and original hook holes still visible in wood back.)

We have some truly unique local U of I historical pieces. An Antique sculpture stand from the home of James Lechay most likely from his friend and fellow teacher Humbert Albrizio. He came to teach at Iowa in 1945 at the suggestion of his friend Philip Guston. There he joined a group assembled by art department chairman Lester Longman. The group included Mauricio Lasansky, Humbert Albrizio, Carl Fracassini, and Byron Burford, among others. Lechay remained on the art faculty till 1975. We also have an antique diaper pail that Lechay used for used oil painting cloths. Framed art photographs from local known artist Warren Paris.
