Born in Colorado; early growing-up years spent in the mining town of Jarbidge, NV; graduating from Twin Falls High School; attending the University of Idaho; supporting her husband through Law School; living and loving a 56-year marriage and raising 3 children have made her the amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, artist, quilter/pieced quilt pattern designer, teacher/lecturer, church and community-involved gal she is. She has given selflessly to her family, friends & many organizations & interest groups: Jay - C-ettes, PEO, Cub & Boy Scouts, Brownies & Girl Scouts, 4-H, Job's Daughters; Boise Basin Quilters, Embroidery Guild of America, County & State Election Boards for over 5 decades, Festival of Friends Artisan originator and coordinator for 19 years, Grange & Fair contests judging, teaching quilting in Idaho & Oregon for over 30 years -- having been selected to design and construct the Idaho Centennial Quilt and has had her work juried in west coast & national shows, as well as being published in national quilting magazines and the Smithsonian Magazine. This (her) home is a reflective collection of memories from all these facets of her life: wood, china & fabric original designs, pillows & quilts, décor, antiques & dishware spanning generations; clothing, jewelry and accessories that highlight her "flare" for color, fashion and fun! Her homemaking talents coupled with love of all things "holiday" provide a trove of treasures just waiting to tell their next chapter in your homes. You will not want to miss this elegantly decorated home & all it holds.
