Raju Peddada Area Rugs & Sculptures

Raju Peddada 100% Grade A New Zealand wool area rugs, hand tufted and hand knotted in India. These rugs are great quality and have beautiful colors. They look amazing with mid-century modern decor. Tom Cruise and Oprah Winfrey are fans! Here are some technical specifications:

Peddada rugs are made with the finest wools available, from Tibet and New Zealand. Peddada colors bring nature back into designed spaces. The designer’s selection of sixty-five plus colors from nature’s palate were extremely hard to recreate, therefore, Swiss dyes and natural herbal/vegetable dyes are creatively combined by our dying masters to create this unique color spectrum. Many colors had to be created from scratch by these experienced color dying masters.

Peddada rugs are made with the thickest piles of wool surpassing industry standards. Keeping wear factors and character in focus, Peddada rugs are created with 5/8” to 1” wool pile heights depending on the design. Varying pile heights are cut or carved based on design specifics. What is normal wool pile height for Peddada is extraordinary for the industry.

All Peddada rugs are hand-tufted or hand-knotted at 100 knots/inch to 150 knots/inch depending on the materials used to the highest standards. Interior Designers and Architects have the option of going to broadloom process for speedy deliveries for large custom specific institutional projects. Project specifics will usually dictate what manufacturing process is conducive to meet delivery timelines. Whatever the process, Peddada guarantees quality, design integrity, delivery and service to meet the most demanding scenarios.

These rugs have never been used. Any dots you see on the rugs is the result of the hand dyeing process.
