Explore a unique estate sale from the home of professional ballerina Sydni Knox O’Rielly, known for her strength, elegance, and expressive artistry on stage. Her refined eye for beauty is reflected throughout this collection, blending classical sophistication with modern artistic influence.
Sydni was very involved in ballet, being a dancer in her younger years, and then moved on to being an instructor later inl life. She had danced all over the world. When she settled down back in Chicago she was associated with the Ruth Page School of Dance and the Ruth Page Foundation. At one point she operated a non-profit called “Sentenced to Dance” where she would work with the courts and try to introduce ballet dancing for “at risk” city kids. She was a remarkable person.
This sale features a curated selection of fine art, including figurative drawings, abstract works, and framed pieces, alongside quality wood furniture such as dressers, console tables, accent chairs, and marble-top cabinets. You’ll also find decorative lighting, mirrors, and a variety of home accents that reflect clean lines, intentional design, and artistic expression.
Highlights: Include mixed jewelry lots, unique decorative objects, and a range of lamps and wall decor. The overall aesthetic mirrors Sydni’s approach to ballet—balanced, expressive, and thoughtfully composed—making this sale ideal for collectors, designers, and anyone seeking timeless yet distinctive pieces.
