GLOBETROTTING ON LAKEVIEW
This Chicago couple traveled the globe, and not just to the usual places. They went to India, the interior of China, Tibet, Nepal, Peru, and more. On their travels, they accumulated tons of folk art, ethnic and tribal jewelry, textiles, and clothing. In addition to these treasures, there’s china, lots of kitchen stuff, the usual estate sale suspects.
THE LIST: We use a virtual list via Pickerty. Check the second picture in the photos to get the QR code and link to sign up on the list.
DIRECTIONS: THERE WILL NOT BE ANY SIGNS IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING, PER BUILDING RULES.
It's Lakeview, so parking is tight, BUT street parking on Lakeview, Stockton and side streets is free. There’s metered parking on Diversey. It’s also very easy to get there on the CTA. You can easily take the 22 Clark, the 36 Broadway, the 151 Sheridan or the 76 Diversey buses to the sale, and then take an Uber home with your treasure.
When you come to the sale, you will have to be escorted up and down elevator, so please be patient when waiting to enter the sale. Whilst we can fit around 15 customers at a time in the apartment, the elevator is small and only 3 people can be escorted up at a time, so again, patience.
.NET USERS: if you are viewing this sale on .net, then you are only seeing 125 pictures. To see ALL the pictures, view this sale on .org. Go to my company page and click on my website, and a link to the .org listing will be right on the landing page.
