He sang with the Pope and Harold loved him! His name is Clifford "Fort" Smith, and was known as the

TAILOR of BRONZEVILLE!!

Bronzeville Icon Fort "Clifford" Smith left his job at ILLINOIS BELL after 20 years to follow his passion of jewelry making and fashion design. He was passionate about giving and helping the community, especially our youth, and dedicated time and money to college funds, kept a watchful tab on their progress through college and simply helped many individuals in need. He had several stores and SEVERAL CELEBRITY clients. Who? Why Ms Winfrey herself of course! Scroll through the photos and see him rubbing elbows with the international elite! Did you see that photo of him with POPE PAUL JOHN II! OMG! *Sorry God, but you know what I mean :)

Fort was well traveled and had a voice of an angel. His deep crisp baritone voice has been recorded and heard all over the world! Some of you Chicagoan's know him and I'd love to hear your memories of our dear Fort Smith at the sale.

Chicago, now its your turn. FORT SMITH BOUTIQUE needs your help! The sale will take place on Saturday, March 6th and Sunday March 7th, from 9a-3p. (All forms of payment accepted). There are BEAUTIFUL BRAND NEW DRESSES, JEWELRY, COATS, HANDBAGS and other delights--all NEW with the tags! And heres the but. BUT I need you to buy by the carload, truckload, armload?? Why? Because the family needs our help and together Chicago, I know we can do it. For we are a community that takes care of each other. The family needs us to. Especially during this trying time.
