Lakeview Eclectic is exactly that. A little mid century, a little Art Deco, a little Italian design, and a whole lot of very good stuff. And that 11 foot tall Steiff giraffe? We’ve got it.
It’s tough to say what the standout is here. The original Noguchi Akari lamp? The Donald Deskey inspired Art Deco dining set? Maybe it’s the Maitland Smith snail lamp, the Herman Miller Eames dining chairs, or the dozens of lithographs. Then again, maybe all that Le Creuset is more your speed.
The art glass collection is nothing to sneeze at: Blenko, Murano, Iittala, Gunnar Nylund, Frederick Carder Steuben, Correia, Rosenthal, handblown Mexican glass, and more.
The furniture is no slouch either. Yes, there’s Art Deco burlwood and Eames chairs, but the vintage marble topped farm table can’t be missed. Plus, there’s a Thonet style rocker, a lucite table attributed to Mascheroni, and a Joe Colombo Boby trolley. Lighting includes Tommy Parzinger for Stiffel, Robert Abbey, Visual Comfort, and yes, that Maitland Smith snail lamp.
The kitchen is packed with vintage and like new Le Creuset in all the colors. There’s Dansk, Copco, Calphalon, like new All Clad, vintage Pyrex, Heller canisters, and lots of copper. Plus Tiffany & Co., Imari, Spode, Rosenthal, and LOTS of Fitz & Floyd.
The closets are no slouch either. Prada, Dries Van Noten, Bottega Veneta, Yves Saint Laurent, Burberry, Max Mara, Loro Piana, Filson, Schott, and more. Throw in bedding by Sferra and Ralph Lauren, and you’re living in luxury.
Looking for records? We’ve got disco to Dylan, bluegrass to Belafonte, and Gladys Knight to the Grateful Dead. Oh, and Elvis, the Beatles, and the Stones.
Add in Taxco silver, Santa Clara Pueblo pieces, Hudson Bay and Pendleton blankets, baseball cards, comic books, architecture books, vintage tools, and dozens of lithographs by Andy Warhol, James Rosenquist, and Claes Oldenburg and others.
