NEW PICTURES ADDED OF LOFT FURNITURE 8/14

Get ready to get busy!

Our annual Estate Barn Sale will be underway Friday and Saturday out at Casa Kiran, and there is absolutely something for everyone .. and then some!

We've been hunting and gathering for the past year, and we've just unpacked tubs and boxes stuffed with the most eclectic variety we've had to date, plus all sorts of great furniture pieces, artwork, small appliances, and some very special categories we've never had before including:

A 1974 Mercedes 450 SL with hard and soft tops, cherry red (hoping to get a picture for you ... mileage is 110K+)

A Panda Com-uter moped

Old (reclaimed) Chicago brick (hard to count the way we stored it, but I'm guessing about 1000 pieces, brought back from a south side garage)

An impressive collection of formal wear for the plus-size drag queen

And ... that truly is just for starters (but you've gotta admit that's a good start!):

Here's the SHORT list of what we have for you in the barn:

Crystal, including Waterford, Lalique, vintage etched

Glassware including Depression, 50s/60s, ruby

Pottery

Porcelains, including Belleek, Limoges, hand-painted, figurals

Dinnerware

Vintage kitchen -- enamel ware, glass storage, cookware, baking, serving, knives, some older Fiesta Ware

Electronics

Gas generator

Tools

Small appliances

Pens

Political Buttons

Christmas, including 2 color wheels, glass ornaments, a few cottages, more

Lots of great paper, ephemera, including railroad, postcards, brochures, antique photos, some really cool advertising, and much more.

Books -- many interesting subjects, mostly hard cover with dust jackets, subjects including art, travel, photography, history, cookbooks, collecting, plus better fiction.  Some antique books, too.

Clocks

Tin ware

Model ships

Vintage toys

Hundreds of DVDs

Hundreds of CDs

Silverplate

Bowflex and other excercise equipment

Costume jewelry -- it's not in the pictures yet because we're still sorting and bagging it, but boy oh boy are you going to have fun digging through it.  We have tubs of it!

Furniture, as always runs the gamut from ready-to-use to project pieces.  We have a nice variety and there will be more than the pictures show because we're still loading it in.

We will also have some showcases set up with better smalls, including 14k gold jewelry.

If you've been to one of our barn sales before, you're in for the same fun you had the last time ... if you've never been, THIS is a great one for you to check out (fair warning:  they're addicting!).

We'll open at 9:00 and we will pass out numbers at 8:30.  We'll do our best to move everyone through as quickly as we can.

Rain or shine ... rain only makes our stuff cleaner anyway!

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express cheerfully accepted in any amount ... cash is certainly a favorite.  Sorry: no personal checks.

... and, as always, a Kiss on your way out the door.
