The 1955 Speedster's list price started at $3,253, or about $800 more than a base 1955 President State hardtop. That said, the 1955 President Speedster was loaded with standard equipment including: choice of automatic or overdrive transmissions, power steering and brakes, dual exhaust, a four-barrel carburetor, "Shoemaker-stitched" diamond-quilted genuine top-grain leather seating, carpeting front and rear, a map pocket, an eight-tube radio, a Stewart-Warner 160 mph speedometer and 8,000 rpm tachometer in a striking engine-turned facing, turn signals, electric clock, tinted glass, cigarette lighter, oil filter and oil bath air cleaner, dual backup lamps, triple horns, two-speed electric wipers, tubeless whitewall tires and wire wheel covers, fog-light bumperettes, stainless roof band, specific trim including a hood-length hood ornament, Speedster nameplates and checkered emblems, and chrome-plated ashtrays, rear-view mirror, moldings and tailpipe extensions.

It has Power steering, power windows and power seats. The Studebaker model range was face lifted for 1956, making the President Speedster a one-year-only proposition. As is the case with most limited-run cars, top-of-the-line models and one-year-only models, they are seen by collectors as the most desirable of a given year; low production numbers only bolster desirability in the long-term.

The roulette table:  Full size Victorian Roulette Table by B.C. Wills & Co of Detroit Michigan USA.  This is a beautiful restored American turn of the 20th century  roulette table made by B.C. Wills & Co Detroit Michigan features a very fine wheel of maple and rosewood with silvered center shaft. The table edges and the turned wood base is all mahogany.  It was from the Club Nevada in Reno around the 1930s.

For those of you who attended the last auction, this auction is a block north from that one.

THE VIEWING IS FROM 10AM- 12PM.

It'll be sunny (we hope)! Temp 2146.
