Dentil molded bonnet with glazed side doors and glazed frieze above the brass dial with painted moon-phase, calendar ring and seconds bit, gilt-brass spandrels, trunk door with two glazed apertures, bombe base. Robust English movement striking on a cathedral gong. Circa 1890. 98" high x 23 1/2" wide x 12 1/4" deep. Lacking strike hammer, cut steel hour hand broken off. Can be restored to fine operating order!
