The family estate of artist Arthur William Hall, famed artist known for etchings and watercolors.

Also we have the work of his second wife, listed artist Glada Avanelle Trenchard Hall. Lastly, the third generation is represented by listed artist Barbara Lockhart, who exhibited here at the Palette and Chisel Club and others.

Arthur William Hall (1889-1981) was an award winning artist known as one of the founders of the Prairie Print Makers. After his first wife, artist Norma Bassett Hall passed, only painted watercolors. His watercolors are outstanding, and we have several available at this sale. 

Arthur's second wife , Glada Avanelle Lockhart Hall (1892-1992), knew Arthur as a classmate at the Art Institute of Chicago. Glada is listed in Falk's Who's Who in American Art, and exhibited at the Hoosier Salon and the 1933 Century of Progress. We have several of her works available.

Barbara Lockhart (B. 1928), is an award winning artist who exhibited at Palette & Chisel Club in Chicago and the American Pastel Society. Barbara was a commissioned portraitist and her landscapes and genre scenes are just beautiful. We also have several of her paintings here.

Other listed artists include Robert Atwood and Don Brackett, AWS.

In addition, the home has outstanding furniture, including a very nice Renaissance Revival bookcase, antique Grandfather clock, an LC.Tiffany Favrile bowl, lots of other glass such as EAPG and American Brilliant Cut, several Hobnail including pitcher and glasses.

Pottery includes pre-Columbian, American art pottery and stoneware.

Jewelry includes Native American sterling, and some other sterling including Gorham.

Antique oil and electric lamps by Rayo and Kleeman.
