There is so much awesome stuff in this house I don’t even know where to begin in terms of explaining it. The house, garage and outside are just packed to the brim with items mostly vintage, antiques, and steins (but there is MUCH more than just that). The owners were collectors of anything and everything and there are definitely some really cool pieces here you will not be disappointed, I promise!
This is going to be a long one so get cozy and then read on…
Let’s start in the basement of the house, it is a full basement filled to capacity. Here you will find many dolls, vintage dolls, life size Barbie’s, porcelain dolls, clothes, doll carrier, small vintage trunk also filled with more clothes, tons of very cute doll furniture like high chairs, strollers, chairs, buggies, most of which is vintage and wood, very well made. We also have some salesman sample dressers and a cupboard, these are not common and super cool!! We also have our antique velvet and iron pram that is just awesome and you can display your dolls in there. We have a table of just vintage trains and tracks of all sorts of different models and yes including Lionel! Another table of vintage toys, underneath is records, 2 tables of Christmas, table of other holiday’s, and a huge table of dishes, vintage scales, cookie jars, and so much other miscellaneous eye candy. The walls are lined with a vintage wood commode, pictures, rug shampooer’s and shelving.
Upstairs in the back porch you will find some gorgeous pieces! There is a working Silvertone Victrola, many records, a hutch filled with vintage glass and on top of it are old milk bottles, canning jars, pop bottles, and medicine bottles. There is a three piece set of antique wood and emerald green velvet furniture that includes a chair, rocking chair, and love seat (I love this set!). There is an old singer sewing machine and a couple of very pretty vanity sets one set is sterling silver.
In the kitchen and dining room there is a lot to look at! Tons of vintage salt and pepper sets, many cow creamers, tons of uranium glass pieces in the curved glass curio along with a beautiful tea set. We have 2 silver-plated tea sets, a super cute Hazel Atlas orange juice pitcher with 6 juice cups, vintage corn serving set, vintage coffee grinder, Pyrex, pink depression glass, Black Americana items, vintage kitchen utensils, egg scales, mirrors, many old clocks from mantle clocks to wall clocks to cuckoo clock to any other clock except grandfather. Antique table and chairs, large mirrored china cabinet, old Philco radio/record player, stools, antique high chair, and a stunning secretary desk with matching stool that still has the skeleton key to open and close! And sooo much more!
In the family room there are some nice furniture pieces! One in particular piece that is cool and different is a corner cabinet that has some stained glass doors (some clear glass needs to be replaced), also there a really cute vintage vanity, some tables, a dresser, and some nice old rocking chairs. The oil lamp collection is also held in this room there’s at least 20 of them! And also have some odds and ends like a 2 Gone with the Wind lamps, fireplace set, figurines, sad irons, cool old jug from Chicago, mirror, pictures on the walls, an old Stella piano mandolette and an old afro harp.
Then the two bedrooms… Oktoberfest is HERE! Celebrate in style with your own stein we have hundreds to pick from in every style and size imaginable!! In the garage is a mish mosh of many different items and yes they are all pretty awesome too! We have crocks, another pretty bedroom head and foot board with matching mirrored dresser, Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, vintage banks, dolls, DVD’s, VHS, other furniture that needs some TLC that would be great project pieces!
