Some of the wonderful and unique items include vintage artwork from around the US, amazing jewelry that includes fantastic one of a kind pieces from midwest artists, unique home decor that ranges in styles, ephemera including postcards, black and white photos, old photo albums and scrap books, posters, advertising, recipe pamphlets, large collection of coffee table books, vintage and antique books, vintage calendars. Case full of costume jewelry, vintage decor, and lots of other small miscellaneous case goodies.

Maggie Farley began her lifelong journey in the antique business as a young child in Ohio. She spent many weekends traveling with her mother. Maggie began to develop an eye for purchasing items that- while they looked discarded and broken- yet just needed to be revived with a little TLC. Maggie transformed this love for antiques into a successful business that traveled with her as she moved to Illinois. In 1985, Maggie's dream of opening a storefront came true and she was the proud owner of Shops on Scranton in Lake Bluff. She traveled the country and world, going to artisan shows, always looking for those eye catching pieces. Her love of antiques and supporting her local community led her to create an estate sales companies known as Happenchance and Forest-Bluff Conducted Sales. She has helped so many locals with her estate sales and feels as though it is now her time to retire. Please come to say hello to Maggie and congratulate her on an amazing career in both antique sales and estate sales.
