When two New Yorkers bought and lovingly restored an architecturally significant David Adler manor house they were faced with unforeseen challenges and many decorating decisions.
During the four year renovation the two stylists scoured antique stores, flea markets, and estate sales for an eclectic mix of primitive art, French and English antiques, taxidermy, mid-century modern furnishings and more! Once the project was completed and every room was exquisitely decorated there were a number of treasures that simply didn’t fit the new décor. We then held a sale on the grounds of their estate, and it was an overwhelming success.
Soon after the sale, trucks arrived with even more furnishings, great vintage clothing, and even more art and accessories from their former New England home! The decision was then made to once again offer the over flow of the contents to you!
We are excited to partner with the Lake Bluff History Museum for this unique sale. The History Museum’s Trinkets and Treasures Sale will not only offer items from their private collection but treasures donated by their docents and supporters. This will offer a rare opportunity to make a piece of Lake Bluff history your own while supporting the History Museum as well!
Come shop this eclectic collection of local memorabilia, primitives, French and English antiques, Mid Century modern furniture and everything in between!
