Beyond the Bluff Conducted Sales

I've been on a treasure hunt and you are all invited to join me! When you enter this Lake Forest cottage, you will experience a time warp taking you from before the 1930s until the 1950s. This is not a perfect home and the parking will be a challenge but the contents inside will make it all worthwhile!  This is the fun and old fashioned sale you have been waiting for!

In the kitchen you will find a stenciled oak table and four chairs circa 1935. All these years the table top has remained covered and the set is as beautiful and perfect as the day it was purchased! Many kitchenware items have never been used and still have original tags and information dating from the fifties. There is lots of vintage glassware, pottery, crocks, bar ware, an occupied Japan blue & white children's tea set and yes, lots of curios and kitsch!

Some people have traveled the world but these people have primarily traveled the U.S. and brought back treasures from nearly every state. It is like taking a trip to the gift shops from the past. There are tourist plates and tins, a grass skirt and accessories brought back from the Philippines after WWII and so much more.

If you need a salt and pepper set come and take your pick. We have about 50 sets in every size and shape. We also have glass and china figurines you never imagined wanting ....but maybe you will when you see how cute and collectable they are.

We have a vintage 1950,s Marx tin litho dollhouse 2 story with garage and a lot of furniture to go with it. There are also sweet dolls and some clothing from the same era that appear to have never been played with.

Mid Century lovers, this sale is for you. We have a Basic-witz drop leaf table with leaves and seven chairs, a matching Basic-witz buffet and china cabinet. The furniture is pristine and so is the beautiful serving pieces and china.Also there's a beautiful Van Briggle pottery lamp with shade. We also have a desk and bookcase from the same era.

There is a three piece 1930's Art Deco Waterfall bedroom set, two dressers, a 1920's side by side secretary desk and oak curio cabinet, an Art Deco Waterfall cedar hope chest by Lane and so much more and all in perfect condition.

For the tool collector we have lots of vintage tools and even an old pipe fitting set. 

There is a Silvertone radio and phonograph combo, other vintage radios and some records. There is a number of vintage cameras and equipment including an 8mm projector. We also have three Singer sewing machines in varying age and condition. Don't miss the WWII fire extinguisher and any number of unusual items you may not have seen at sales in a long time!
