Welcome to our Paxem online estate sale!
First, we would like to say we miss all of our estate sale enthusiasts and hope you are staying safe and healthy. Let us assure you Paxem is doing our part in this health crisis by ensuring all employees are healthy and using PPE for your protection and ours.

Paxem is offering appointment only, contactless pickup service with online purchases. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, we are now providing virtual options as opposed to public viewing.

While shopping online, Once you have decided on an item - click buy. This will allow you to send a message with your offer.

-There is a 3% service fee for all purchases at this time.
-All items are sold as-is, we work hard to identify and ensure the condition of all items. Unfortunately, because many items are previously owned, we are unable to guarantee condition. All purchases are final
-Masks & gloves are required for pick-ups.
-Paxem representatives are not permitted to assist in moving/carrying furniture items outside of the home, please plan accordingly.
-We strongly suggest inspecting each item accordingly and bringing your own packing materials for your purchase. (We can provide packing material upon request.)

Currently, the CDC is recommending that people cancel or postpone in-person events that consist of 10 people or more throughout the United States. According to the state of Illinois Executive Order Number 10, all individuals must stay at home. Our business must comply with this Order. To accommodate our customers who have immediate needs we are trying different strategies to assist.

Once the Order is lifted, we will still have to modify our current estate sale strategies to protect our employees, clients, and buyers. Listing sales as “by appointment only”, is one option we have had some success with. The last three sales had better outcomes than anyone expected. The “appointment only” sale would limit the number of people allowed into the home and give Paxem time to clean in between appointments. Paxem is also working with the “buy-it-now” solution. We photograph all items and post them to our network. We include dimensions and descriptions, sell items by the group, and individually so people can make their purchases remotely. We can then ship the items or have them picked up on a date designated for pickups.

For those with quick closings during the Shelter-in-Place Order, we are providing cleanout services. Everyone on-premises must remain wear masks, gloves and booties and work in separate rooms. If hazmat suits are required, the necessary costs will be passed on to the client.
