It was the original house in the area, known as Mutton Hollow in the 19th Century.

In recent years, it was the home of a woman who turned the gardens into something so remarkable, they hosted garden walks for the community to enjoy, and the inside became an amazing series of themed rooms loaded with calico, chintz, pastels, angels, floral fantasies, French-themed decor, shabby chic-inspired furnishings, and So. Much. More.

It's kind of like if Home Goods and Hobby Lobby had a baby, and then the baby had a bazillion more babies.

We've been in this business for 20 years, and never have we seen so much, that's so pretty to look at, that's just so in line with the way people are decorating today.

And to top it all off, she decorated -- with gusto -- for every season, but especially loved Christmas. She created themed trees in every room, sometimes more than one tree in a room, and honestly, I don't know if Hobby Lobby even carries as many decorations as we have in this spectacular sale!

Unfortunately, the house has fallen into disrepair, and the gardens went unattended for several years, so this sale may represent the last opportunity for the public gets to spend time in this grand painted lady, or enjoy her gardens. But while you wander through those gardens, you will find so much yard art in them that it'll take your breath away.

You cannot miss this sale!

There is SO MUCH for sale in this wonderful, crazy, fabulous house that we will be open for 3 days to give you a chance to see it all (because it will take you a couple tries to see it all), and load up the car, go empty it, and come back again and again.

Pricing will be extremely buyer-friendly, but the house has some idiosyncrasies you need to be mindful of:

The yard, which holds a high percentage of what's for sale, is uneven so you need to be able to navigate such a terrain.

The house has no air conditioning, and it has been closed up for 5 years. It's very dusty so it's kind of dusty. It's a little smelly because there have been burst pipes and some standing water over that time, but we'll have the windows open and it's airing out. We couldn't clean everything, so there is "smoodge" on a lot of things, but what we did clean cleaned up nicely. We'll add fans and have some wet-naps, but you might want to bring gloves and some might want to bring a paper mask.

So, just be prepared for all that, and then get ready for the ride of your life in this utterly wonderful, amazing, lovely, and once-in-a-lifetime sale.

Open 10 - 3 on Friday, and 10 - 2 on Saturday and Sunday.
