This is the home of a Chicago opera singer from The 20th Century Opera Company and The American Opera Company and her sister, an accomplished concert pianist. Some of the opera costumes and jewelry, shoes, hats are available for sale, as well as the sheet music and vintage classical music records. There are fine home decorations that were collected from around the world. The gorgeous antique dining room set consists of a table and chairs, buffet and cabinet. Some furniture and lamps are from the home of Chicago Civic Light Opera's very own Maestro Bigalli, who won the prestigious "Prix de Rome" in 5 catagories many years ago. There are original oil paintings, one Hargrove, many books - some vintage first editions, lots of vintage/antique items such as clothing, dolls, decor, electronics, mushroom canisters. Misc. kitchen items, silver serving pieces. There is a closet full of absolutely adorable dresses and shirts from the 1940's to 1960's! Vintage music items such as a metronome, maestro baton, and more. Lots of carved marble, ivory, brass, mother of pearl, silk, fur, silver. Lots and lots of costume jewelry - probably over 2,000 pieces. 48 star 5'x9.5" flag. Vintage dolls from Germany. Vintage linens. Lots of old tools in the garage to. Must come and see!!!
