If you were lucky enough to attend our Small Antiques Estate Sale in Palos Park last weekend, first of all, we thank you so much for attending.  We did have 185 people waiting before we opened, and 350 people that ultimately had to wait to come in.  Soooo, we thank you, as always, for your incredible patronage in following our sales, and apologize if you did have to linger; the home just wasn’t very big and it was stuffed with goodies.  The way folks were buying, however, I believe you’ll agree it was worth it.

Anyway since that sale about wiped us all out (worked till midnights nearly every night, and I should have taken a before and after photo…. Remind me again to tell you how much I love our gang.  What an amazing crew!) this week’s sale is more on the manageable side, but a nice place to come in and find something special.  Highlights:  If you or your young adult children are looking to join the Mid-Century Modern craze, we have a very cute Danish style Teak Dining Room Set by American of Martinsville, from the 1960’s in Great Shape – not huge, but very stylish and functional.  Pass the word!  Here’s a glimpse of some of what we are selling:

·      I love this vintage Pinocchio Cookie Jar!  It could be McCoy but not positive it’s USA mark on the bottom could be something else

·      Nice and low Bookshelf unit (great for under a window where you need storage)

·      The Chairs and Sofas are dated; a few like they were from “This End Up” – however if you need temporary pieces to fill in until you can buy your dream furniture, college students for apartments, lake homes, cabins or budget minded folks like most of us, these pieces should be reasonable and perfect.  Sure are comfortable!

·      Really Cute Décor

·      Weber Genesis Grill

·      Incredible amount of Costume Jewelry

·      Cute Kitchen Table

·      Aforementioned Mid Century Danish Modern Dining Set

·      Holiday items, especially Easter!

·      Beautiful Keith Urban Limited Edition Electric Accoustic Guitar and amp, case

·      A whole patio worth of vintage bricks (neatly stacked)

·      Large Hummel Collection

With our homeowner’s blessing, we were approached by a gal whose mother had passed away, and she had quite a stock of collectibles, household, dinnerware and more that needs to be liquidated, and since it appears to be some terrific items, we’ll be adding her treasures to the sale as well.  Just more for you to enjoy!
