A big thanks to our regular customers who made the trek to Winnetka this past weekend (what a beautiful area!)  I am sure they were not disappointed with the wonderful array of fabulous items our dear homeowner was parting with, and we just about sold out of everything!  We’ll try to post photos of everyone that helped to move the 7 foot high, 800-pound Yum Yum Easter Island Head from the yard…one can only imagine what people were thinking driving down the tollway, as this piece was moved in an open bed pick up truck! 

This weekend’s sale will be a blast, and truly a Man Cave to End all Man Caves!  We literally are selling every tool known to man, (and most are in new condition), a yard tractor by Case, an ATV, yard items, a grill, roto-tiller, golf equipment, a Toro snow blower, an amazing amount of CD’s, DVD’s, Audio Equipment by Bose, Apex, Panasonic, Technics and Loewe, and did we mention tools?  Why have one hammer when you can have a hundred?  And it’s all quality and not the junk you find at other tool sales.

No self-respecting Man Cave could be without a comfy brown leather recliner chair, (and this one glides and reclines!!), leather sofa and loveseat and other family and living room pieces, some inexpensive bedroom furniture (attention college students moving into your first pad!!), the Tom Clancy novels among other books, BB Guns, and Booze.  Lots and Lots of Booze.      

There is exercise equipment, a knife collection including a wicked looking machete, an old Zenith Table Radio, patio furniture, some fancy pens, and one of those large tricycle bikes, which seem infinitely safer than two wheelers, some nice men’s watches and brand new bottles of brand name cologne, still in the boxes. 

There are some very old pencil signed prints of Stage Coaches and other early Western scenes, nicely framed.  There is a brand new Keurig coffee maker still in the box, very pretty silver Tea Service,  nice pots and pans and other cooking items, some exceptionally lovely giclees and signed prints and original art. 

We also are offering a super nice dinette set – actually two dinette sets, and a marvelous mission style bookcase and cabinet…we have some stemware, glassware, china service, an old Kodak Retinette camera, additional cameras and a Flute.  And much much more!
