Lots of manuals, photography books, and loads of his mostly black-and-white photographs. Awesome photo albums from the 40s and 50s that include many pictures of auto shows, plus interesting portrait studies and overall cool photos.
Mid-century modern furniture is Danish modern teak, including a Dyrlund round dining room table with the pull-out ROUND HINGED leaves (sometimes called "flip flap"). We have his purchase receipts for the other teak: the 10 dining chairs are identified as Taifo Rudbol, the sofa and loveseat in the living room are Scandiline, the end tables and coffee table are Cado.
Also, Danish modern cradenza with tambor doors is B. Pedersen, and a ridiculously cool Taifo 3-piece teak wall unit that is lighted and includes bookshelves, drawers, and drop-front desk. Also an end-table sized MCM teak piece that stores FOLDING TV TRAYS ... receipt says Bol Jensen, but I believe it's Poul Jensen. Coolest thing I've seen in years.
MCM leather sofa and loveseat -- leather needs to be cleaned up but the pieces are sleek. Another teak table with pull-out extensions in the kitchen.
Scandinavian extends to tabletop and decorative accents -- Kosta Boda, Dansk, dinnerware is Block Langenthal Transition by Naomi Savage ... pottery by Andersen Design, Santa Clara Pottery, Doreen Lansing (Navajo) .... Denby tumblers ... Dansk wood ice bucket by Jens Quistgaard .... lots of other cool stuff!
Bedroom pieces are MCM -- one is a multi-piece Baker modular. 2 twin beds with the head and foot lift and vibrate features, plus a set of standard twins.
Plenty of filing cabinets and storage.
Mobility items.
Sony flatscreen TV.
Full kitchen including pyrex stovetop pots and skillets, other cookware, bakeware, dishes, etc.
MCM artwork by Atsushi Kikuchi and some other signed original art as well.
Having retired from RR Donnelley, we also have dozens of Lakeside Press books, still shrinkwrapped, some even still in their shippers.
Showcases will contain some great smalls -- small sterling pieces, a few collectible coins and medallions, bits of jewelry , gold scrap... it'll be the thing we work on right up until the end so come and see!
WE MAY BE ADDING MORE INFO AS WE GO ALONG ... but this is a fabulous sale with a really great variety of vintage finds.
Open 10 - 2 both days; our numbers at 9:30. We don't involve ourselves with early-bird lists, however we will honor a watched list when we pass out numbers. You must be present to get our number and when our number is called or you'll lose your spot in line.
Cash cheerfully accepted always! Credit cards for $20 or more (excluding car: cash only for vehicles).
... and, as always, a Kiss on your way out the door.
Thank you for using EstateSales.NET. You're the best!
