Description & Details
The famed opera singer who owns this home has been an aficionado of Frank Lloyd Wright for more than 50 years. Having walked inside countless homes by Wright, this homeowner hired Wright- influenced architects, Wright scholars, and master craftsmen to build his Wright inspired home.
None of the pieces for sale were original pieces in a Wright home, but the pieces for sale were reproduced and purchased from exclusive dealers, were custom-made based on the specifications of original Wright pieces, or were custom made in the Prairie style. Many pieces are quarter-sawn oak. All of these pieces are in mint condition, rarely seen in an estate sale.
These extraordinary pieces of furniture have been very attractively priced for the discerning buyer that is looking for style and quality.
Also, featured at this sale are some pieces of furniture that are not Prairie or Arts & Crafts Style such as high end office furniture, as well as many items that are not furniture, but also high quality.
Three unusual items for sale are a 1910 Steinway Upright Vertegrand Piano, and 1876 reed/pipe organ, and a 1956 T-bird with all options.

I have owned it for 20 years.
The color is Coral Sunset -- one of the six colors offered that year, but Coral Sunset was offered only for one-half of the model production year. 56,500 original miles. Steel belted radial wide-whites with innertubes improve the original ride-- which was hard. A "Club approved" am/fm radio with tape deck has been installed, but I have the original Town and Country
radio in a box -- which was working at the time I removed it. An alternator has replaced the original generator, also which I still have in a box. All chrome is excellent. The Camel colored rag top is new on the original frame.
