    • here's the story on ms. pac-man: She was completely redone, upgraded and refurbished, head-to-toe, for a charity auction recently. It was a huge hit at the auction and it brought in a lot. She was running  like a charm and in great shape, and has since been stored in a warehouse for 1 year, then delivered here to sale house. I plugged the little lady in and her lights came on, and we could hear music playing, then *poof* she shut down and will not turn up again. My guess is she only requires a simple fix, since she was just up and running without a hitch! But all and all, we will be selling her As-Is !

We acknowledge as a company the sensitivity around selling vintage Chief Illini items, and hope to not offend anyone by doing so for our client. We plan to sell these items with the upmost respect and dignity of what they represent and deserve.

COVID-19 CHANGES/UPDATES: 

We've made some changes to our typical rules because of the current climate with COVID-19. My staff and customers' health is a top priority of mine. Take a look and see what will be different!


1. To be frank, our attempt at the new "sign-up sheet" system was a disaster.  We appreciate everyone's efforts as we tried something new, but after receiving feedback and the lack of customers on Saturday, we're goin' back to our old ways! First Come, First Serve/ Place-marker system! 

2. Masks will be required. Mask must be covering mouth AND nose.  If you are unable to wear a mask due to breathing or health issues, I am so sorry, but you will not be able to enter the sale. You are welcome to purchase items over the phone on the second day, final sale, but unfortunately that is about all I can do for you as of right now. We will not be letting up on this rule. 3. Once inside the house, please practice social distancing and give yourself and others plenty of space while shopping and checking out :)

4. We will no longer be able to wrap and assist with fragile items at checkout, and will have a wrapping station right next to the check-out table. I'm actually thinking this will speed up the check-out process for everyone overall!  

5. We will not have our typical "muscle" working the sale, if you are buying furniture, please have some help lined up for pick-ups! 

6. Because of the limited amount of people and social distancing rules, we will be extending sale hours to make sure everyone gets a chance to enter the home and shop.
Friday 4pm-7pm
Saturday 9-2pm
& Sunday noon to 2pm for half price and the rest of the pickups. 

7. I am absolutely open to doing phone/text orders, it'll just have to be once the initial line has entered the home!! To make it fair for people that came early to get "first pick".  I typically do not answer my phone during sales, so texting is the best way to get ahold of me. 2176496288 (Whitney).
If you're not wanting to physically come to the sale, shoot me a text around Friday evening or anytime Saturday to see if the line has entered, and what item you're interested in. It will be all sales final of course too. For example, you cannot text me saying you'd like to buy it, then once arriving saying "Nevermind, I thought it was a darker brown, smaller, etc"!  We will try this out and see how it goes. We are also considering having items listed online too, Saturday late afternoon to sell before the last chance on Sunday.  So just keep an eye out for updates. It's a crazy world out there right now, and we will do whatever we can to accommodate, just as long as we see it as fair and safe. 🙂

These new rules might seem like a pain, but we're actually thinking some of them will help things overall! We are trying new things and we will adjust as we see fit. So please bear with us and we appreciate your patience and support of our small but mighty, local business. We want nothing more than to continue to support this community with our services.
