WILMETTE WONDERS—Part 1
SUNDAY--25% OFF PURCHASES OF $20 OR HIGHER
Sophia’s Estate Sales has an amazing sale that will take place over two weekends, April 13 and 14, AND April 20 and 21. There’s too much to try and show and sell in a single weekend.
This Wilmette couple were adventurous travelers and collectors; they amassed an incredible collection of Asian art and antiquities, folk art, Americana, vintage advertising tins, Depression glass, designer clothes, jewelry, art books, and more.
THE LIST IS OUT: we let customers in via a list. The list is placed on the fence by the yard on 7th St in Wilmette. Doors will open at 11AM on Sunday April 14. Go get a coffee or some breakfast and be back at 11AM. I recommend Walker Bros on Greenbay (seriously, best bacon in the world) or Alchemy Coffee at 416 Linden in Wilmette (really good coffee).
PARKING: please park on the south side of Laurel Ave or on the east side of 7th street. There’s plenty of parking, but the streets are narrow, so park on just one side so cars can get by.
