A New Arrangement is honored to host an estate sale at the home of Walter and Laura Jolly where they have lived for the past 40 years.  They were avid art collectors whose interests included Hoosier artists George Ames Aldrich, T.C. Steele, Otto Stark, William Forsyth, John Love, Wayman Adams, Harry Davis, and Glen Cooper Henshaw plus others.  Dr. Jolly has an extensive collection of William McKendree Snyder from Madison Indiana who was a forerunner of the Brown County Art Colony.  We are also very excited to be able to sell art of William McGregor Paxton.

As members of the IMA Contemporary Art Society, they also took great interest in modern artists including James Willie Faust, Antonio Sergi, Karl Appel, Henry Moore, Bill Komoski, and Vera Klement.

Laura’s Danish heritage is spread throughout the house with Danish artist Bjorn Willa’s porcelains and pottery.  There are Stokke chairs from mid-century Danish furniture designer Jens Quistgaard.  She also collected Studio Art pottery from various Indiana and national artists.

Antiques include an Irish hunt/wake table, English pine linen press, and English pine dresser.  There is an English 14 foot mahogany dining table and 12 French Hepplewhite chairs.  There are pharmacy oak chests, a 19th century 8 foot pine work table, and an 18th century copper collection that any cook would love.  There is also Steuben glass, Orrefors, and other antiques and exceptional accessories.

We apologize but the family decided to keep the Robert Natkin painting.

This is on a large piece of property so you will be walking a distance to the house.  We will have drop off and parking for people with mobility issues but it is limited.  There will be someone who can guide you when you park.

No large bags, handbags, or animals will be allowed.  Cash, Venmo, and credit cards are accepted.
