TERMS: CASH, Cashier's Check or Money Order ONLY made payable to the East Chicago Port Authority. All payment forms require full photo ID. Full payment on auction day. An additional  $50. (refundable) deposit will be assessed to the winning bidder as security that watercraft buyer will carefully, properly and completely remove watercraft off of the East Chicago Marina premises within the specified time deadline.

          There is absolutely NO working on, cleaning or stripping down the watercraft while it is located on the East Chicago Marina premises. Most of these boats & watercraft Don't have trailers. Winning bidder/buyer must make your own trailer arrangements for watercraft removal. The Marina has various flyers posted of companies that do watercraft pick-up and transport services.

          East Chicago Marina staff on auction day will be ready to accept new applications and payment from winning bidders who wish the option to continue and extend watercraft storage, slip or dry dock leasing, on-site at the Marina for extended or seasonal rental.

          Titles: Arrangements for title transfer of the watercraft is done by the East Chicago Port Authority pursuant to I.C. 32-34-10 4(7). Each winning bidder on Auction Day will be issued a completed Indiana State Form 50634 to take to the BMV.

          Removal Times:  AUCTION DAY, Sat. April 11 until 3 p.m. CST

          & Sunday, Monday & Tuesday, April 12-14, 2015, 8 am - 3 pm CST (must bring bidder payment ticket with you to show to Marina staff)

          All items Sold "As Is, Where Is" no warranties or guarantees, you must rely on your own personal inspection. Not responsible for accidents, injury or items after "SOLD." Announcements made on Auction day take priority over previous publications or electronic communications. Don't flip cigarette butts on street, driveway or ground, only in proper receptacle. Please respect neighbors and not block other boater's access and transport.

          Food service, restroom facilities, ATM Cash machines within walking distance.

          DIRECTIONS:  The East Chicago Marina, 3301 Aldis Ave., East Chicago, IN. is located 5 minutes or 5 miles north of I-80/94, exit north on Cline Ave./Indiana 912. The Marina is sandwiched in the middle, right in-between East Chicago's Ameristar Casino & Inland Steel/Arcelor Mittal plant, on the shore of Lake Michigan. Go north on Cline Ave., take exit #5C, a green sign reads Ameristar/Jerose Park & Marina, follow the signs for Marina, go to stop light (which is in front of the casino), make a hard left (west), go .2/10ths mile to Stop Sign, turn right (north) & loop around right in the Marina area & park in lot by South Shore Club Bar & Grill which is on the south side of the Marina area.

          If exiting off of I-90 Toll Road, the EC Marina is 1.8 mi. north of this Cline Ave. exit until you reach Exit #5C, then follow directions noted above.

          Note: Public Auction of Watercraft Pursuant to I.C. 32-34-10-4. Watercraft listed above will be sold at Public Auction in conformity with the provisions of I.C. 26-1-7-210 & I.C. 26 1-2-328 by the East Chicago (Indiana) Port Authority on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. CST at the East Chicago Marina, 3301 Aldis Avenue, East Chicago, Indiana 46312.  Any watercraft must be carefully and properly removed by the winning bidder by Tuesday, April 14, 2015, 3 p.m. CST or the watercraft will be considered abandoned and may be repossessed by the East Chicago Port Authority and additional cost may be incurred to the winning bidder.
